Texas Fishing Charters is family owned and operated. As a family oriented fishing charter company, we enjoy taking families fishing with kiddos of all ages. Most of the captains that work for us are fathers themselves and have the patience to teach children of all ages the fundamentals of fishing.

Most of our guests are families and some have little to no experience fishing and that is not a problem. Our captains will instruct each guest on how to bait and cast to the fish. And if you have a deep interest in learning fishing techniques, rigging and other important factors than don’t hesitate to ask your captain and he will be happy to show you.

No matter the age or experience level of you or your children there are trip options to fill your needs. We offer a 2hr “Part-time Fisherman” Harbor Tour for up to 6 guests just in case you’re not sure if your child can easily last the whole duration of our 4 hour Galveston Jetty Fishing Trips or our 7 hour Close Offshore Fishing Trips.
